As one of the co-chairs of the Drake Awards we are fast approaching the event. If you are not familiar with the Drake's it is the event that we hold to recognize both the creative work and those who do it in the advertising field. It is a fun event to attend and we are worjking hard to make sure this next years is as good as ever. Let me know if you would like more information.

Clients and feeling of warmth

One of the reasons to own your own business is to work with great clients. When you do a job for an appreciative client it makes it so wonderful. I was fortunate to get to work on an event this last weekend that we put together quite a show and this morning the client was so appreciative. It makes all of the hard work so worth it. I guess that is also a statement about this time of year. Everyone around us deserves a little thanks. Look up from the ground and thank the next person that holds the door or does something nice for you. Maybe even thank the person who makes your coffee, but when you do it say it with sincerity because people can tell when you are not. Feel the warmth of saying thanks and you really have found the spirit of this time of the year. Just some thoughts.
