So a few weeks ago I spoke of a transition that I may make. Well I decided to do it.
Yes it is a Mac. We are needing a speed boost in our production and this seems to be a very good solution. The next photo shows XP being installed in Boot Camp.
Finally this is After Effects running inside OS X using Parallels. I will write a bit in the next few weeks about how this is working out.

OK, call me confused, but why did you spend a bunch of money to buy a Mac laptop when you're just running XP apps in it in virtualization? Running the XP apps native under an XP install would be faster, and for the price of that Mac laptop you could've gotten a much faster PC laptop. Unless you're planning on moving all your apps to Mac native, then ignore everything I said above ;-)
Just my two cents...
Ah... Someone is on to me. I am indeed going to be migrating. The interesting thing about the virtual is that it runs almost as fast as boot camp and you can drag and drop between environments.
Oh, I never said virtual was a bad thing, I just thought it was pointless if all you were doing was running XP apps to do your work. But if you plan on migrating, you made a good choice.
Now if I could just get OS X running in virtual on my PC laptop, I'd be happy (as my PC laptop's a good machine). I just haven't made the attempt.
Your PC could only be so lucky!
Welcome to the Dark Side.
